The client’s Records Exit Checklist relied on a manually routed PDF form for review and signature, leading to inefficiencies, incomplete submissions due to the lack of required fields, and limited accessibility of checklist data. Without a centralized database, records were difficult to search, and reporting was performed manually on an ad hoc basis, further complicating oversight. To address these challenges, Savan developed a Power Application to streamline data entry, enforce required fields, and capture all checklist data within structured SharePoint fields. Automated notification workflows alerted Records Managers and Supervisors when checklists were ready for review, ensuring timely processing. Leveraging this structured data, Savan also created a Power BI dashboard to automate tracking and provide real-time visibility into checklist status, improving efficiency and compliance.
