Why Savan Group
I came to Savan Group to work on projects that matter to our clients – the people running programs in the Federal government and their clients, the U.S. taxpayers. I like the fact that our work is structured to provide a valuable service and that when we leave our clients, we leave them with the tools they need to respond to challenges.
What I Enjoy About Consulting
I have had the privilege of working with each of my clients over a period of several years, and have had the opportunity to discuss their challenges candidly. These insights allow me to tailor our services, anticipate obstacles and to deliver real value to our clients.
Lessons Learned
Improving program operations is not rocket science, but it does require patience, a willingness to deal with changes, and active communication. Most of all, it’s really necessary to address all the interworkings of people, process, and technology. My most successful engagements – and the ones I have enjoyed the most began with a plan, spent lots of time getting everyone’s buy-in, and allowed for course-corrections to get the end product right.
Off the Clock
I love to travel. Two of my favorite experiences were flying a small prop plane through remote Botswana and spending an entire afternoon at a small café in Brussels.
